I grew up in the Okanagan, and after achieving my Bachelor of Fine Art Degree in 2001, I moved to the lower mainland and worked in almost every arts related role I came across- from various festivals, theatres and events, to galleries and for many years at a BC based art supply store.

In 2007 I decided that I needed to find a better balance between working in the arts and creating my own art. Since then I have been focused on my photography practice and a few other creative endeavours along the way.

With a life-long appreciation of the outdoors, it is easy to see why my photography reflects the colours and themes presented in nature. Given my fine art training, I enjoy capturing the natural ‘compositions’ that I see. Whether macro or big picture, I love being in the moment with my camera, taking it all in through the view finder, and composing fine art vignettes through the photographic medium.
